New Dubber

Hey guys how's it going?

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Ken. I'm from near Gap, PA, but I go to school in Philly.
I drive a mk1 1984 VW Rabbit gti and I push a little boost I bought the car two years ago and did all the work myself. I look forward to meeting a lot of you guys and hopefully seeing you as some car shows or get togethers.

yessir! Thanks for the words. I'm glad you like it. Most people tell me they like the red better, but I love the blue.

Thanks for all the kind words, guys!

The day I bought her:

before:

After I swapped:

During:

Did the headliner myself:

I have tons of swap pics of my progress through the entire thing if anyone is interested.

It's definitely a frankenrabbit. It's what I love most about dubs - they're basically legos.
Passat 1.8T bottom end, A4 1.8T top end, Audi TT (225hp) Intake Mani, k03s turbo from a mk4 GTI, evo 8 intercooler, just got a new trans I gotta put in from an 81 diesel rabbit, vr6 waterpump pulley, mk3 tdi oil filter housing, I custom made all the boost pipes and downpipe myself as well as the coolant lines, etc, deleted all PCV ish and run a catch can, brake booster one way valve from a '60's camaro , SPEC Stg 3+ Clutch +PP, lower scirocco k bar, coilovers, and prob more that I'm forgetting.
I'm chipped on a United Motorsports tune and I weigh around 1800 lbs with the full interior intact. So much fun to drive
and I'm no where close to being finished.

Sweet! I'm near Gap/Parkesburg/Christina/Coatesville area hbu?
It'd be cool to get together, let me know if you go to any local meets! I'll take you for a cruise. It's like driving a go-cart. i'm in Philly during the week at school though, so weekend is preferred.
