Small Dog found in Yardley/middletown area.

Small lost dog found in Yardley / middletown PA area. She is Female..

I was told by the local SPCA to not give a detailed description or post photos to help ensure that the actual owner is found. If you or someone you know has lost their dog please email me with a description.

This thread is to help find its original owner, this is not a "free to a good home" thread.

To ease any worry, The dog is now at my parents house being kept inside, being fed, and even got a bath. Dropping her off at the SPCA is NOT an option! I knew taking her to my parents house would be a dose of heaven considering my Mom has always had at least 3-4 small dogs at a time to care for. If the owner isn't found she will have a wonderful life there.

You should take her to a vet so they can scan for a chip. You could also take her to the Women's Humane Society in Neshaminy or at least notify them that you have a lost dog in case the owner goes there looking.

I wasn't the one who actually found the dog so I can only relay the story - My sisters Friend found the dog and of course asked all her neighbors, called the cops to check for reports, and took the dog to the Humane Society to be checked for the chip, report the lost dog, and a basic check up. My sisters friend then posted on facebook asking if anyone wanted to care for the dog leading to my Mom ending up with it.

Whats been done so far to find its original owner. (I'd appreciate any other advice!)

-Asked local neighbors
-Checked Humane Society
-Checked local news papers
-A facebook post
-police report

What I've personally done because it actually bothers me that the Original Owners are missing their dog -

-Made this post of course in case anyone knows anything and so it can be searched/found on google
-Checked Craigslist for missing dogs
-and did a google search for "missing dog PA, bucks county, Yardley, middletown" (you'd be amazed at how many results came up just for this one breed)

maybe post up on craigslist?

I remember when I lost my dog for 2 days, it was one of the most terrifying 2 days of my life.
