Another new personal best in the Legacy.

Again, a new personal best in the Legacy. Not really too excited because I think I could have done better. My clutch wasn't holding too well. I did get 10 passes in, not many people there.

Her are my three best times:

..........Best.....Best....Best
..........MPH.......60'.....ET
R/T... .172..... .234... .227
60'..... 1.819....1.750...1.761
330'....5.329....5.244...5.244
1/8.....8.251....8.162...8.162
MPH....84.41....84.30...84.33
1000'...10.778..10.718.10.690

1/4.....12.917....12.875...12.837
MPH....105.74....104.93...105.25

Now if only I could put all my bests together into one pass. Will scan timeslips tommorrow.

I am trapping ~105MPH. Next is a custom tune from TDC in NH, that should get me about another 1-2 MPH

Nice numbers bro. I was thinking it woulda went faster with the AP due to the fact of your awesome 1/4 times with just exhaust. Either way its a beast and with a clutch and a few other small items I dont see a problem with your car hittin a low 12.

I think I might have hurt something in the car....now I get a bad vibration if I am in 5th gear at 60mph and roll into the throttle. OH well, wait until something breaks.

congrats kevin, that's great! i too thought it would be lower because you were right on the cusp with just the exhaust... that's a lot of money to spend on a few tenths? how does it feel?

Car feels good, gotta remember too it was 20 degrees cooler when I ran my 13.0 with just exhaust. I bet if I ran in the same conditions as the night of my 13.0, it would be a 12.6 car. Tracks looks good, it was a little slick. I had to spin the water off the tires to keep from spinning all 4.

but you didn't have the ap then did you? i don't understand that. if it was colder, and you now have the ap, shouldn't it be more of a jump down in time?

i don't want to take the wind out of your sails about your new time, i just want to make sure you're getting the most out of your ap... those things aint cheap!

Right I didn't have the AP then. That was a 32 degree night and I ran 13.05 with just the exhaust. On saturday it was 52 degrees and I ran 12.83 with the AP. That warmer 20 degree difference is cancelling out some of the gains I am getting with the AP as compared to the cooler day when I ran 13.05. If it the conditions were the same as my 13.05 night, I would have noticed a bigger improvement with the AP.

Yep Atco. I looked down at my temp display at one point and it said 52. I always try to remember the temp for that day so I can compare runs and try to factor in the differences in conditions. There is no exact scinece or rule of thumb for it but I try to guesstimate the how the changes in conditions impact my time.
