Getting a low mileage JDM turbo engine and complete turbo conversion for it :D

I plan on getting the rust fixed soon and then it is time for the swap, and then some fresh paint. The brakes will be next, and I will most likely just go with Z32 calipers again like my Sentra, or I am going to upgrade the Sentra to Brembos and use the Z32s on the Z, haven't decided yet.

No progress as of yet, was busy with the Sentra but now the Sentra is on hold until after the turbo conversion for the Z is done.

You do realize "low" miles jdm motors is a lie? Unless there is superior paper work specifically stating approximate miles on it. This is well known for z32 motors but for a jdm z31 motor you have some choice but still comes with there problems. What year motor? When you switch the calipers over if there not rebuilt yet you should rebuild them, or go with R32 calipers same crap. Hope to hear progress soon

It's a 85 Turbo motor, suppose to have 50k miles on it. No paper work sadly but the person I am getting it from is a well known and respected member on the forum I am on so I will take a chance with it. Worse comes to worse it needs a rebuild. The Z32 calipers I have on my Sentra now were already rebuilt, and the R32 calipers are always over priced.

See there is the problem I dont give a f*uck if your god himself! If there isnt paper work I wouldnt even believe my mother. Thats just me I dont want to waste my time with something im gambling with. Your right though if worst comes to worse itll need a rebuild, but it would be nice not to have to rebuild the entire motor just the maintanence aspect. Good luck with the swap though the 85 motor is very good just the time they were introducing the new (suckier turbo) motor with higher compression. I know from nissan motorsport magizine the Black B*tch had a 94 jdm vg33et and that was a monster. The R32 calipers are over priced but what gtr parts arent? lol.

Well for the price I am paying for the motor and the conversion parts, I can't go wrong. I would be paying almost the same price for a full conversion swap minus the engine.

And I just got a new job, so I will has moneys. Can we say future sexiest North NJ Z31? Simple, pretty, yet functional, quick, and fun. That is the goal.
