Excessive force?

http://www.boondocksbootleg.com/prof...ght-halo-reach

I know cops always have to assume the worst case scenario, but come on... what was this kid doing that was so threatening that the cop felt it necessary to body slam him through a display rack and onto the hard floor?

Body slam? He swung him by his arm and he barely hit the ground. **** head deserved it. I hate cops but are you really going to try to say this is "police brutality" or something?

From what is shown in the video, the kid is putting up very little resistance to the officer. I can see if he was pulling at the cops hand in an attempt to get away but all this guy did was move his arm a little bit before getting thrown to the floor.

I don't thnk cops should have to kiss your ass. If you are out of line maybe a good slam is what you need.

Put yourself in the cops shoes guy. The little resistance that perp is doing is giving him time to think. Like "should i pull the gun out of my waste band and kill this cop". Cops are trained to take them down, and take them down hard. There is no such thing as "Mr Nice Cop" when it comes to these situations. Hesitation will get you killed.

Excessive force?

Total call for he deserve it 100% if he is being a ass, saying insulting things and is tryin to get away. Maybe if he tied his shoes, and would of been sober his shoe wouldnt have fallen off helping him fall...

Drunk, disrespecting the officer, resisting arrest, being ginger. He should have gotten a courtesy shot on the leg.

i dont understand WHY people think thats excessive. i cant even count the number of times ive been confronted by cops. but ive never been taken down cause when they tell me to do something, i do it. like that video that surfaced where the 2 cops are beating the dude with their batons in west philly. they keep hitting him cause hes covered in blood and they dont wanna touch him. who would? odds are that if he did what he was told in the first place, he would have gone home in one piece that night.

He should get cited for that on top of resisting arrest and public drunkenness.

When police officers tell you to do something just do it. It really is that simple.

I am the first to cry bloody murder when I see a cop out of control. This isn't even close. The kid wasn't cooperating and he threw him down.

When I was 15 this cop was pissing me off and I told him to **** off and he slammed my face into a brick wall while I was in cuffs. That was excessive force. My nose didn't break but dam there was alot of blood, they left me cuffed in a pool of blood for hours.

HAHA pool might be a slight exaggeration. But I was handcuffed to a bench for several hours with my hands behind my back and a blood soaked shirt.

Sorry no actual pool on the floor.
