Picked up a new bike!

So 'technically' this is my first real bike.

1998 CBR600 F3. 11k miles, new fairings/tires/brakes, solo tail, smoked windscreen, stage 1 jetted, yoshi slip-on.

I got a great deal and couldn't pass it up.

I cut my teeth on CBR's owned 5 of them.

The F3 forks must be used with F3 brakes as well as the F3 front wheel. The wheels look the same as the F2 wheel, but the F3 uses a floating rotor, where the F2 uses a stationary wheel mounted rotor. F2 forks are dampening rod style, F3 forks are cartridge style. F2 front wheel also has a spot for a speedo cable sender, or you can use the f3 wheel spacer to eliminate it. F2 and F3 also have a different front fender, and they cant be interchanged because the mounting location is different on the forks unless you make an adapter plate which I did on my old F2 with a 98 body swap.

Its hard to tell from the pics, it looks like an F2 wheel with.

F3 front brake, wheels, fender, fork

F2
