Another One Lost Too Young

I wasn't going to post this since he is not a member here, and I'd be lucky to find one or two people on here that even knew him. My friend Alex sadly committed suicide Saturday. None of us know why and its sad because the kid was a quiet and really nice kid. He seemed a little off for the past week like he was always a step behind (which seems to happen to a lot of people when you are really busy), but we think his DUI in his beloved Cobra may have set him off. The only reason I am posting this is because he has been a longtime friend who I always played ice hockey with and he loved his Mustang Cobra. Thanks to Sean Mallon and his 4uDrew I had the idea of maybe doing something to the same extent just to keep his memory alive as long as his parents don't need to sell it off for final expences.

All I have to say is enjoy the people you love because you never know how limited your time is with them. He was only 23.

So sorry to hear, Josh. Suicide is a terrible pain to endure, especially for family and friends; I know all to well from my life experience as well as my occupation. I think what you're doing is a great idea, and if I can be of any help, give a shout.

Aside from that, the only advice I can give you is just make yourself available to his family and your other friends. You're all a big support web for each other, and it's so much easier to deal when you know you've got a shoulder near.

Sorry to hear this. Sometimes things get overwhelming man. I had breakdowns myself at times in my life. Wish we could've saved him! All it takes is a simple talk to let his tears shed and/or stress out. Sorry for your loss. With that car and your quick bio about him, I say he was on the right track.

Hope all is well with you, friends and family!

So very true. You just never know.

So sorry for your loss man. RIP. Its never easy losing someone close to you. I know all too well what its like. I lost my best friend 3.5 years ago. I still struggle to comprehend it all.

Sad to see a member of the Mustang community pass on. His car is absolutely beautiful.

Its always sad when this kind of stuff happens. i'll admit i thought this was another thread about someone doing somthing stupid in a car and paying the big price for it which i have little sympothy for. but its never cool when a friend takes his own life... Almost lost one of my good friends to an intentional OD. My condolences to his family.

Damn Josh, I am really sorry to hear about this. Loosing someone close to you is extremely hard and being so young makes it even worse. Hang in there buddy and always try to look at the light of things. Hit me up if you need anything...

Sorry about your loss man. Hopefully he is in a better place now. And who cares if he wasn't a member of TST, we can all still show respect for another car enthusiest/human being regardless of something like that.

Kids need to stop dying... and is that last pic with the older tails and other wheels how it looked most recently? I think I used to see him driving around the Lansdale area right near like George's music

Yea that was him. He had the tinted tails most recently. He lived down that way.

We play at Hatfield Ice World. We actually have a group of 10-15 kids who played every Saturday night for the past 1 1/2 years together and this Saturday we are playing in his memory so if you play ice feel free to come its from 10:20-12:20 at night and costs $12.
