Need some vw help.

I have a mk2 with a vr swap. So heres my problem I have full power on everything my radio headlights etc.. the thing is it wont crank or start unless I jump it but when I do it cranks right over no hesitation and it also doesn't start back up after turning the car off at random times. Ive been racking my brain trying to figure out the problem and I cant seem to come up with a good enough cause for this problem and it doesn't really make much sense to me. I even tried a different battery thinking the old one had a bad cell...wasn't the problem still does the same thing. Any suggestions on were to look?

Thanks
Chris

The starter is fairly new and the ground looked pretty clean. I might just take it off and clean it just to knock it off the list.

You have a bad connection somewhere. Possibly in the crimp between the connector and the cable.

^ coilpacks?

Load reduction relay? Turn on your ventilator and try to start the car, if the fan doesn't shut off there's your problem.
