End of summer DSM BBQ Meet(Long Island,NY)

Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

Blue_gsx23 Tri-State Aficionado Join Date: Jul 2008 Member #8278 iTrader: (1)	End of summer DSM BBQ Meet(Long Island,NY) For those of you that are local or live somewhere in the Tri-state area(NY,PA,CT). There will be a BBQ meet going on next week on Saturday the 29th. Anyone is more then welcome to stop by and hang out. It's always a good time when you have DSM's, food and beer. The meet will be at a new dsm shop in Long Island called Distinct Motoring from 12pm to 7pm. The address is below: Distinct Motoring 141 Sunrise HWY Lynbrook, NY The last meet we had there were about 12-15 DSM's that showed up. Here is a pic from that meet.
