Sadly, they DID. & continue to do so.

Cars with stolen parts like that Honda deserve what they get. I am no Honda fan, but I would say the same for any Nissan with stolen parts. Hopefully with this kind of action, it will help some how.

they said the cars were street raced, maybe i missed the part about how everything on those cars was illegal?

I agree i think it's a waste. i imagine there could be a better way to do good without destroying cars.

IIRC there was a web article along with the video that said that the vehicles that were crushed were stolen/had stolen parts/no papers/etc. the rest of the vehicles that had papers were just impounded and fined

the best thing they could do is to take the parts and have a sort-of police sale/auction... use the money they make to pay for some of the department's expenses

But they would be selling the "illegal" parts and other performance parts to, most likely, street racers.

thats what i was thinking, sell off the goods and donate the proceeds to a charity. they could make a killing.

I think this is so pathetic...i'm so tired of seeing all these honda's running around with thier fart-can mufflers and "awesome" bodykits.

Minus the stealing the car parts thing, i actually think this would be really badass if it was like evo's and supra's and other cars that are capable of putting on a show. But a honda? Seriously.
