Looking for interesting areas.

looking for some interesting areas to take photos/explore.

This past weekend I went to centralia and surrounding areas and I want to see more



Anybody have anyplace cool to visit?

keep it to jersey/not too far west PA as the range.

With fall approaching, I would think about taking a ride to Rickett's Glen State Park up near Wilkes Barre. It's an awesome place for fall colors and waterfalls. Bring some good shoes though, as the trails can be pretty slippery.

I just saw that yesterday. It looks pretty good, even if its pretty far form me :P

If you hit it at the right time, pretty good is a huge understatement. I've been there a few times and it was well worth the 2 hour drive. Get there early and plan to spend the day walking and shooting. Also make sure you bring a tripod to steady the camera for long exposure waterfall shots. Here's an example:
