My New Whip

Sold the EVO..........yeah I know I'm going to miss the evo, but this is much more practical for me. It's still fairly quick too at 265hp, atleast still fast enough to beat most honda ricers when needed.....

Evolution had 4 doors, AWD, and was just as practical.

I personally think you f0rked yourself and did a major vehicular downgrade.

1 - its a lot cheaper than the evo in a number of areas.

2 - a lot smoother ride than the evo

3 - was time to buy a vehicle i'm planning to keep for a while

4 - always liked the xterras

5 - dont like any other SUV's under 40k

6 - would never buy a station wagon....even if it was a suby...the looks of subarus are hideous to me, with the exception of the legacy GT and wrx/sti

7 - had a performace car and had fun, now time to move on.;

8 - its only a vehicle downgrade performance wise, every other aspect its a vehicle upgrade

So maybe you should now log off of TST then since you've outgrown the performance phase.

when i say honda ricers, i mean the cars that have a loud ass exhaust and drive like asses when they have no performance mods. most of the time they are civics, crx's, etc....hence honda ricer. There are a lot of hondas out there I do like, so nothing against honda, just the ones that are as described.

duuuude chill. i'm sure he misses the evo plenty, so lets not all sit here and tell him what a horrible decision it was. believe it or not, there are other factors that go into an automobile than performance and if the Xterra makes him happy then its better than the Evo... for him at least.

some day i'll have responsibilities and a mortgage and all that crappy stuff too... but until then i'll keep spending time and money on my impractical sportscar

I am guessing you bought that SUV for carrying stuff around? Because if you are trying to go for better MPG... hum.. However that is a nice looking SUV. The ones one's are so much bigger looking then the older ones.

Good luck with the new car. Maybe you'll be able to pick up another toy down the road, lol. Ever consider getting a 1g to play with?

Believe it or not my Honda Pilot actually gets around the same kind of MPG that our WRX (long gone) got. Granted the WRX was an auto but so is the Pilot and both had about the same amount of HP.

The biggest difference is I have to keep the Pilot around 70 on the highway where the WRX could cruise a little faster, lol. Around town they were pretty much the same.
