Recently our training facility was visited by this M5 touring wagon. I think it was converted to an M5 touring as they were never sold in america. Either way, I love it, the the guy did a great job with the car

Only BMW people will get this plate

Not only is it beautiful, its fast and functional. You can get a full load of groceries and still do a smoky burnout and drift out the parking lot w/the kids in the back seat LOL!

Are his halos that deep of a blue (8-10k) or is it how your phone picked it up?

What are the 1st 3 digits of his VIN? That'll answer if it's a real M5. It very well could have been imported. Great looking car minus those ricey ass halos.

They're pretty blue, but my phone did make it a tad darker. I'd say 8k's.

i'm a honda guy and i got that the plate meant the engine code and that it was an m5 touring.

then again i'm a reformed euro whore :D

yea i thought the same thing too, when i hooked it up to the ISID it says WBA instead of WBS, which is what made me conclude that it was converted. But with the GT1, it comes up as WBS and an M5, probably because it reads only the ECU signals and not all the Modules. The vins on certain parts were different too. But everything in the car looked factory, as if they were all meant to be there. Either way, I'd definitely love to own it lol.

It is just the color of the rings. E39's had halo's stock on some models.

This one started life as a 540. There is only one real E39 M5 Touring; its silver and its at the BMW offices in Germany.

Didn't start as a 540. If anything it started as a 530

Because when i scanned it via ISID that's what came up on the computer. But via GT1, it says M5.
