Just not that style of bike I think he means. I also agree with ya but you can't knock speed.

It's a nice bike. But I'm not really into naked bikes. If i were to buy one, it would be a cbr1000. I can't even look at 600's anymore since I smoked one in my car.

Bikes to me are not about top speed, its about hitting twisties and dragging knees. A 600 could outrun a 1000 in the turns with equal riders.

Bikes now are made almost completely identical in terms of size and weight. A 6 wont out run a 1000 in the turns. It would out run a heavier bike like a Busa or a ZX-12 because those bikes are over 100lbs heavier than their 600s. But the weight difference between a 600 and 1000 is less than 10lbs. With the 1000s power it would be a long day for a 600 around the twisties.

P.S. nice looking bike you have there

as far as the twisties and handling. to me this bike with equal riders would hand 90% of the 600 and 1000 4cyl there ass around corners. it has so much more usuable power than any 4 cyl i have ever ridden. can ride low rpm's and go full throttle and it still pulls. the 4cyl you have to rev the hell out of to get any power
