Im new to subbies I just picked up a 06 wrx, i see people saying theres a difference between 04/05 and 06/07 years, my question is if i could use a hood from a 04 sti on my 06 wrx..found someone selling a carbon fiber hood they had on their 04 sti and its one of the things im in the market for. Thanks for the help.

The answer would be no. None of the front end parts are interchangeable

04/05s have a different front end styling than 06/07, so i do not beleive the hoods are interchangable because of the different headlight contours.

You are correct. Just as a side note if you were really ambitious you can swap any year front end on any 02-07 wrx/rs. Just need hood, fenders, bumper, and I think a bumper beam. The WRX has an aluminum hood while the RS has a steel hood.
