Traded in the Denali on this 2004 Excursion Eddie Bauer 6.0L Diesel. I had one back in '99 and always loved it. It only has 55k miles on it so it has a LONG road ahead of it. Perfect DD for me in my opinion. So far it has the lift and exhaust on it. I'm going to throw a tuner on it and call it a day.

More pics tomorrow when it gets light out.

Make sure you do headstuds asap.

Thanks guys. It's definitely big. I'm going to wrap the back half to advertise the shop so I think it will def get enough attention.

Mike, definitely doing head studs as well as getting some gauges to monitor things. I've done my research on the 6.0 so hopefully I can prevent the common issues.

If you do headstuds and don't stack chips you should be fine and ford is good with warranty on those motors.

That's what I've heard. I'm doing an SCT w/ custom tune from Innovative Diesel. I see most 6.0 guys have the best results with their tunes in terms of trans reliability and keeping EGTs down. Are there any good diesel shops locally in case I don't feel like doing the ARPs myself?

Nice ex! I would do headstuds and bulletproof EGR or EGR delete for first mods. Dealers will do headstuds install, atleast around here they do. Also good choice on the SCT, by far the best tuner for the 6.0.

My buddy has a 6.0 Excursion diesel. It's nice but he needed a front end redone on it about 90k miles in it.
