I worked for a body shop in philly. the past two weeks we have heard of 3 seperate cars GETTING F***ed up by a white Tow truck. He goes around backs into or hit them, leaves then comes back and offers to take them to there shop. In the cases we had it was witnessed and police are investigating but it has not been stopped yet to my knowledge. And yes two of the three were "tuners" an STI and a 350z.

What a ****ed up scam! How bad was the damage? I would assume extensive enough to need a tow.

and philly police have no idea what company the truck works for or anything? with all the cameras they have

i smell.......mmmmmm.....police bull****,philly corruption at its best,and i feel like such a hypocrite because im studying for law and justice

True...unless they do but are building a case or some stupid **** like that. I don't know.

I also don't think that makes you a hypocrite at all.

the damage is extensive.. and from I was just told on friday, the cops are building a case, but no arrests

Thanks for the info. happy i park in a garage at school, but in a lot at the apt. one time when i was driving around my 97 subaru some guy told me at a red light that he'd fix my car and that he works for subaru. i pulled into a gas station to talk to him. he was driving some awful, banged up, dirty station wagon (not a subaru) and said he could do the work, but when I asked for a card he got weirded out and I told him "no thanks." I really wish people had better things to do than scam others. Unreal.

maybe he doesnt know how to drive a tow truck... or maybe he is a PRICK! or both... p.s. not trying to defend him in any which way. get his tow truck back by doing something?

1st. I hate hate hate the city to begin with, I work im c.c. everyday and hate it so much. Now this b.s, I know the economy sucks but I mean how much of a a$$hole can you be to do this!!
