Shots From the Last Week...

Here are some random photos from the past week or so. Some were shot in Bryn Athyn, PA and some were shot in Uwchland, PA. The sunset shots with the boats and fence are HDR, but the kayak one and other one framed by the trees are not. The HDR's were done with no tripod and a quick burst bracket set:

The sunset in my g/f's eyes:

And of course, the Camaro (First is Tone Mapped, second is HDR, no tripod):

Great shots all around. Really like the HDRs; I haven't done too much with that technique. What increments do you use when bracketing? How many images compose each (3? 5?)?

Nice shots. The ones that you took of your Camaro came out nice.

Thanks all. I used my 70-300 VR for a majority of the shots, including my g/f's eyes. I love that lens!! The HDR's were bracketed with 3 exposures in -2, 0, +2 increments and I think I had it on Shutter Prio.. though I may have used Aperture Prio., don't remember off the top of my head.

OK sweet - thanks. I've been shooting in -1, 0, +1 increments and I wasn't getting the detail that I wanted. I figured that the increments could be increased, but I hadn't gotten a chance to experiment again. I love my 70-300mm as well - best investment I ever made for my camera.

No problem. It's DEFINITELY a lot better with the increments of 2. I know some camera's only allow for 1. I agree with you on the 70-300... so much fun and I use it almost as much as the 18-70.
