Re-wiring a plug

My IAT sensor plug, the wires ripped real close to the plug, so you can't re-wre it that way. Is there a way I can stick a connector in there, and wire it that way? Or any other ideas?

thre isn't enough wire left to solder on an extension? IAT sensors are only like $60? (for honda's, not sure about mitsu's) could always just replace the whole thing?

I once rigged a throttle cable together with speaker wire on my freinds car and it held for 3 years. It has many uses and can be found everywhere.

I've been to 3 yards, and so had loserkidwac or however he spells it. We both looked, both found the same thing, none of my cars. I found a sebring but there was no motor =[.

I wired it back together with a connector, it did the trick. But I think somthing touched and killed it lol

you could try going to the dealer and have them look up the terminals for the plug and replace just that. it tends to be a pain in the ass between finding the exact terminal and using the right tools but it is possible.
