"Future mods that im goin to get and try is......
-Sr20det, sr20ve, or maybe and Ls1 swap cause i find out the Ls1 puts out more torque and the parts are way easier to find." Um you drive a FWD car dude, and even if you spent the money to convert a Sentra to RWD and managed to fit a LSX engine in that tiny engine bay (a VQ35De barely fits) the torque would twist the frame. Not trying to bash ya or anything since I drive a B15 myself, but obviously you want some speed and power, well you aren't making it out of a QG, especially with all those low end after market parts. Sell it and get a G20 if you want a SR20 to play with, or get a Spec-V if you want torque, a QG will get you nowhere in terms of power. |

A VQ will NEVER mount into a QG based Sentra. The fab work to make them fit is nuts, no one has done it. You need a SE-R or spec-V, or the rare 2.5 LE Sentra so you can buy a VQ mount kit. Get the VQ swap out of your head because it just won't happen without a lot of money.
It would be best to do some research and see what it takes to swap a Bluebird SR20DET into a QG automatic Sentra. I am sure it isn't super hard, and at this point is your best bet at making power. Also doing a QR swap isn't worth it when Spec-Vs can be found in running condition for 4000$. You will end up spending 500$+ for a used QR, plus 700$+ for a good 6-Speed LSD tranny, plus all the conversion parts. Just get a Spec-V at that point. |

Yes u are right but a Vq will fit if u get the Vq(mounts, ECU, wires, and somethings else), plus im talking about the maxima or altima motor and tranny. The Z will not and wont fit into our cars. Its is way easier for the Vq to fit in the Spec-V and the Ser but u will have to do more for the Vq swap to go in the 03-06 1.8s body style. So dont say never man to this kind of job cause u can make this type of thing happen if u got the right person to do it, time, and the money for the job. Plus the sr20 and the Vq35 will cost u just the same amount of money to do it too. The sr20 might be round 4500 to do the mod and + additional parts. Then the Vq should be round 5000 and + additional parts as well. All in all man just gotta do some looking around to get all the info u or I need.

Go do some research. It will cost you way more then 5000$ for a VQ swap in a 1.8. No one makes kits for it. For 5000$ you can buy a pretty nice Spec-V, or you can find a nice G20 for 2-3000$ and boost it.
