well i might be getting a evo 8 and i was searching around. i found a 03 evo 8 with 28k miles last night for 17k this morning after school i went on to get the dealers number but some ass hat bought it or something because its not listed anymore. i dident let that bring me down so i found this other 03 evo for 17k has 50k miles on it. just want some input if it is worth going through queens to look at it before its to late.

sweet looking evo.. but general rule of thumb is it's a no-no to buy a modified used car. good luck.

I wouldn't buy it. Black hoods are gay and the front end screams I've beat on it.

from what i can tell in the engine bay pics it looks stock. i might call them and get some more info on the engine.

looks like at least a cat-back exhaust and an intake from the pics. id find out if it was tuned!

just remember there is a major service at 60k miles (all belts replaced including timing belt)

That's alot for an 03' evo....

Both evo's are modded, By the way. The red one has a tubular manifold, an exhaust,an open element filter, different FMIC core, ETC.

I recently seen one newer for $13k on evolutionm.net. I highly suggest registering on that forum if you are serious about buying one. Dealers get these cars and other turbo cars and think they are gods gift to earth, Expecting to pull in huge money for them.

CarFax the hell out of it and be sure to get in a nice spirited test drive with any used evo... good luck!

my vote is in for the black one just get different rims and work that price down at least 2gs. but as others have said get a spirited test drive out of it, also get a full mod list. and carfax

went to the dealer that had the black one. (you can see the carfax online) only 2 owners and the car was repossessed. reason its alot of $$ is because look at the miles, most cars in that price range have like ~80k and are beaten to death. guy said the car is pushing like ~400hp. ill go back in a few days to see if i can get the price down a lil.
