a circular polarizer will help reduce/remove the glare on the side of the car, increasing the saturation of the paint. ND filters will also help by reducing the amount of light coming, allowing you to use a slower shutter speed during mid-day hours.

We actually had two nd's and a cp on.. It was shot around 6 the light was pretty brutal but not too bad.

What density?

the cpl in itself is worth about 1 stop of light. Shooting at iso 100, f/8-13, shutter speeds will most likely be around 1/500. To get some decent background blur, you'll need about 5-6 stops of light necessitating ND filters stacking up to a density of 2.0. Filters get expensive ><

Original.. My mistake actually there was a 1.2 Graduated ND on top of the CP I forgot the other ND was removed right before this shot. It was shot around F/11 @ 3 seconds ISO 100.

Clone tool and a few others were used in photoshop. Just a standard rig; F1000 suction cups, EMT pole, and super clamps with a magic arm holding the camera.
