I think the bellhousing bolts are a nightmare to get to on that, and I wonder if the exhaust is in the way at all. Other then that it should be straight forward remove and replace.
OE style clutch or are you upgrading? I would resurface the flywheel too. |

Do the rear main seal too while your at it. If you have a warm garage, cold beers and a radio and jacks I'm sure you can find some local help

AAA wont tow it if its not registered. well maybe they will if theres a tag on it and you get lucky that the driver doesnt ask, but the policy is that the car has to be registered and road worthy (i.e. it has to have and engine/transmission installed and have wheels on it etc.)

get a service manual for the car if you can, it usually has step by step instructions and torque specs for this sort of thing

That 150-200 dollar price was a nice price. Honestly, for me to go all the way down to you, and change out the clutch on your Z, Id be asking for about 400 bucks.
That stuff is a pain in the ass. I usually do engine swaps for 500 bucks, which includes switching over the tranny, but its so much easier to do when the engine is out of the car. |
