Anyone/shop to help diagnose battery dying issues? (PA)

Hey guys..

Long story short, my ford focus has air suspension installed and the compressor and system was wired (when i bought it) to work whether the car is running or not. Now that my car is not a DD, the battery keeps dying.

I have tried unhooking the compressor and seeing if that works and no go. Ive heard there is a way to hook it up or run a test to see where the power is draining from. Just seeing if any shops in the area do that stuff. I bought a jump box/battery box for xmas so thats really the only way to start it. I bought a new battery too and still died.

I am located in Pottstown.

Thanks Jay

you are going to want to do a closed circuit current draw test. Pretty much shut the car off and monitor the amperage via the negative terminal. If its above normal you can start taking fuses out one by one and watching the current. If it drops after you take a certain fuse out, that circuit is your problem

what he said^^^ disconnect the negative terminal, put ur multimeter on AMPs and in series with the negative cable/terminal and look at how many amps the circuit is pulling, pull fuses one by one to see which one drops it to 35 milliamps (.035 amps) or less

also have u considered that since you have an air compressor and all that that ur alternator may not be able to charge the battery and run all your accesories at the same time?
