I have been in evcess of 160mph several times on public roads, and my car threw a rod and locked rear tires in excess of 170 mph and caught on fire and skid 880 ft before stoping (I wanst in it that time)

Gone around 100 in my mustang. I don't like pushing it that high really. I've gone 109 at the track with my camaro though.

Where did you get this number from? The stock speedo only goes up to 180 and if you got it from the PFC, that is only calculated speed and not actual. Its usually off 10mph or so. Is 500hp what your shooting for on the rebuild? What turbo are you going to use, cause I know your not making that kind of power with the rx-6.

I personally have had mine to 165 and stopped there because the front end was getting too light for my liking. I also didn't have a front lip at the time. It gets really fast and the speed seems to multiply x4 after 140. Becomes scary fast. 165 is as fast as anybody needs to go imo haha.

I was following another car(911TT). He stopped at 190, I stopped at soon as my speedo went past 180. And the speedo will keep going.

500hp will be pretty eaisy on the new build. I'm either going with an gt 35/40 or a Gt40. The motor is getting ported right now.
