Can I fit 15"s on a bugeye WRX?

Can I fit 15" steelies on my WRX without rubbing on the front calipers? Thanks.

it depends on the offset and width of the steelies

i'm pretty sure there's not enough backspacing there, but you could give it a shot, why not just throw one on and check?

The stockers are 16x6.5 +52 if that helps you out any.

the 16's don't have a ton of clearance so I don't think so

as far as i know, 15s wont clear WRX brakes no matter what. its not related to offset or spoke clearance, its just that the diameter of the wheel isnt large enough to fit around the caliper. (just like you have to run a 17" or larger wheel on the STi to clear those calipers)

there are a very small number of 16" steelies out there that will clear WRX brakes, but most dont.

If you want 15's you'd have to get an Rs bracket. I'm sure other brackets would work but Obviously that's what I had before I got the wrx one. I rock 16" steelies and there is minimal clearance.

wait now i'm confusing myself... can anyone else confirm or deny that you cant fit 15s over stock wrx brakes (excluding the 4 pots)?
i owned 4 pots for a while and remember that only certain 16s would fit over them, but now i'm not so sure about my original stock brakes.
i know for one winter i had 16" steelies that cleared the 4 pots, which was rare.

i just dont want to give out incorrect info about the stock non-4-pot brakes so if anyone can correct/confirm please do...

No, if you can't fit 15" steelies over the 02 wrx stock brakes. Like I said I had the wrx bracket. If I could have fit 15's I would have so I had to get 16" steelies.

Edit:Is there a reason I'm not getting e-mail notifications that someone posted in here or any other tst thread? Just started doing this today. Didn't change any settings and they are still checked so in theory I should be getting notifications. Anyone else have this problem?
