Christmas gift for the R ???

So I'm looking to buy a christmas present for my R and I'm having a hard time deciding.

1. PIC coilovers (I love the ride quality/handling of my stock suspension but would love for it to sit just a tad lower, maybe 1.5) $950

2. OEM optional sides/rears (found a set in good shape with fresh paint) $850

3. 8lb pulley/retune for my JRSC (should give 20-25 more hp) $450

Whay do you guys think? I can only do one option. Also, here's a pic of how she sits now.

You probally won't even notice an increase of 20HP. I couldn't feel it when I had my SVTf what had a JRSC and then added the big boost kit. Suspension/wheels/tires would be my choice as you use them everyday and make worlds of difference.

Like what? There isn't much else that I want to do to it. And I know the suspension is top notch. I just want to close my wheel gap some which is why I'm not going with a half assed setup.

I'm leaning towards the sides/rears because they're so rare. I think it will also make the car look like it's sitting lower as well.

Although the most expensive and like mentioned the type-r suspension is already killer I'd go with the Coil overs. Just make sure you you take the car to get an alignment / tuned so that your getting both looks and handling out of that money spent.

I also think go with white oem type-r wheels or maybe some slips

Love the car by the way.... more pics!

Ya know, I was considering the stockers but my wheels only weigh 10lbs. I'm not crazy about them cosmetically but anything else would be a downgrade I think. If I could pick up a set of Honda Edition Volk ce28n's, that would be different but I don't have that much to spend at the moment. Here are a couple more pics

Saving money for a house I do agree with and understand But in no way what so ever is a Type-r not worthy of modding. OP, if you have the money to spend do so just don't end up living in a box because of it.

I thought this was a tuner site in the sense that people who are into modifying their cars come to discuss modifying their cars?

I def can't argue with the weight, and the thing that made me mention the oem's was the looks of the wheels you have now (to thin looking). The honda edition volks are no joke I agree ha! I never see a price for them though, its always "call for pricing" so yeah, they're prob a million.

So what you thinking? The oem sides/rear? Def rare as hell and sought after. Ive seen cracked (broken) ones for 500..

(I research Honda stuff more then subaru by the way, I'd have one if it wasn't for my on street parking)

ah sorry, i didn't know. In that case the sides or some sort of suspension work would be the direction i would go. possibly some new rims?

The HE volks are around $2800. I found a used set w/tires in great shape for $2600. The sides are supposed to be perfect and have fresh CW paint. They're in CA though so I'd have to pay for shipping. I also like the Mugen MF10's/MF8's but I'd only buy them in silver. I'm not big on bronze.

I would go with the PICs, they're supposedly a GREAT coilover for the money. Or like was discussed in my thread, look into the eibach coilovers, near the same price.
