B5 S4 Cluster out

yeaa it finally went out which sucks, new cluster was put in before i purchased the car from a newer s4 and now it finally went out on me...still displays the "press clutch pedal to start engine" and then the service OK! but then it just goes out instead of displaying time, temp, and date..any help would be great thanks guys.

Yes, this is very common. I am one of the lucky ones, only missing one row of pixels. There was a European company that offered just a replacement of the LCD screen. Someone in the US might be doing this now, I haven't looked into this in a while. Search on audizine or audiworld. Otherwise you have to find a decent used cluster.

Search around for a S4 in a junk yard or something and grab the cluster out of it. That's going to be your best bet.

Problem solved, accidently hit the button that turns the display off..i knew something was up because it was still showing all the pixels fine when i started the car up.
