FINALLY bought a camera! Its a Canon Rebel XSi i have the kit 18-55mm lense and a 75-300mm lense. I'm just looking for more photography buddies in my area. I have a few but they're all women and they're tough to get outside for long periods of time. haha keep in mind i am just starting out so i my be a little picture happy. haha

I'm in the King of Prussia area.

I'm starting to explore the Schuylkill area mainly the path that leads down towards center city. You're welcome to join. I have an Xti with a few lenses so I can give you some pointers since you just got your camera and its very similar to mine.

You can also try browsing through local Flickr groups that have walks & get-togethers.

shot with a nikon d40 for about a year, just bought a d80 yesterday. im a little bit away, but im always down for learning. Im still amateur to the max, but photography is my thing.

d80, 18-55mm, 70-300mm, opteka speedflash

there are some interesting spots around here. i'm not one to walk in a big group and take shots but a small group is ok i dont want to hold anyone up. Meeting in philly or something is definatly a possibility. Though car pics i think would be a PIA in the city, there is a lot of scenic areas in the city.

Go around the Art Museum. There are lots of statues and scenery to shoot around there.

^ what he said. though, I'm looking to get into the train tracks area right in center city. went once and my car didnt like it very much, at stock height. lol
