New Product - Subaru Oil Filler Funnels!

You may have already seen this on the main page but if you haven't Area1320 is now offering screw-in oil filler funnels that reduce mess on your oil changes:

You know, it's a small thing but when filling up your oil, dealing with generic funnels (or attempting to do a change without one and spilling) can be a huge hassle. To combat this we are now stocking funnels that will prevent messes. Constructed out of an ABS plastic with a custom seal you'll not have any issues with durability or leaks. We are offering these funnels for $40 shipped and are for Subaru applications only. If interested feel free to send an e-mail, call, or stop by!

geez chaos... anything nice to say? you don't like it fine..no need to be rude

ok so its not for you.. move on. We use them in the shop and love it. Yes there are funnels with hoses and such (and we have them too) the screw in ones are nice because its a solid tight fit. Open a bottle, drop in in the funnel and walk away. You can pour a gallon container into it without it popping out like other place in funnels.

I have one of those too.. problem is they have to be screwed onto the bottle (if its the same one you are talking about)

yeah I wasn't trying to be rude either lol.. I'm just being a cranky pants lately.

It's a cool idea and I can defiantly understand why you guys are selling them since the MR2 guys have a similar product for $32.fiddy shipped:

Goes up and clears the strut bar or whatever else is in the way (I think thats it). Plus the filler on the valve cover is way low in relation to everything else... so sticking a wide funnel in there blows!

Good luck with the product, it looks good for sure. I deleted my previous post, since it's prob frowned upon to slander vendors when it has nothing to do with me. However, this post I'm typing in is good.

It may not appeal to you but for people who change their oil a lot due to track days for example it is a great tool to have. I've already overheard a few people asking at the shop where to get them so there's definitely some interest They're not readily available from garage shops so we figured it would be a good idea to offer them.

i don't understand why people have such a problem with a screw in funnel. It is great, essentially spill proof. I guess you guys find it super easy to hold a funnel, open quarts and pour oil at the same time. Id rather save the struggle, not for 40 bucks but still. Its not a bad idea

these have been around for a while but were hard to get. We are dealing with a supplier that is getting them for us.
