looks like there's some color left where the arrows point.

i'm no pro by any means, but i think you should try using the pen tool to isolate the colored sections from the b&w. in this pic it seems as if you've duplicated the layer, desaturated the bottom one, and used the eraser to get rid of the colored parts. doing the same, but using the pen tool and then creating a selection and deleting the parts you want desaturated would be a much more accurate way of doing the selective color.

some of the real pros on here could probably give you examples of tem other ways to do it that are far more accurate, but i'm not that good. lol.

i like the pic though, the helmet looks good!
