depends which test are you taking? they have boooks specifically made to study for the ASE test, you should look into picking them up to study before hand, and if you dont get them dirty or use them hard u can return them after

Depends what you are taking. I have brakes, engine performance, engine repair, steering and suspension, manual trans and my L1. Brakes is the only one that is easy, make sure you study or you are just wasting your money. Plus today was the deadline to sign up. I still gotta pass auto trans, on my third try now.

Brakes is by far the easiest, electrical is the hardest IMO. If you dont buy the books and get studying your not going to do well at all, check around on ebay or craiglist for used books though since youll probly only use them till you pass the tests.

electrical and emissions is prolly the hardest.
An each test is its own individual ASE certification,as in there isnt just one test.
