Around 5pm last night, Leena went missing

I know there are quite a few Bucks County people on here. Please keep an eye out for her!

My boyfiend and I were back in the woods, near his house, with her and Bliss. We go to these woods all the time, at least a few times a week. Leena has been running around in them since we got her in January. She usually runs around and always always always comes back. Few minutes go by, and she hadnt returned. Spent 3 hours last night looking for her and from 7am-2pm today. I called all of our local police departments, SPCA, Humane Society, emergency vets. I am printing up flyers now to put around tonight and tomorrow. She is pretty shy with strangers, I am not sure she would even go up to someone so they could get her.

I am so unbelievably upset right now.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers for a safe return. We are located in Yardley/Morrisville area of Bucks County, PA.

I know what you mean. Mia has never strayed anywhere that she couldn't keep me in eyesight since she was a puppy. The second she couldn't see me -- vroom, she'd be hightailing it over. I'd be flabbergasted if we were out playing somewhere and she didn't come back.

Keep looking! I'm sure she'll find her way back to his house. Did you try taking Bliss out while you were looking? Maybe having the other dog there would help somehow.

My sister and parents live in Langhorne. While I highly doubt that Leena will get that far, I'll tell 'em to keep a lookout.

Still no word from anyone. A local cop called and said he took a dog similar to mine to the SPCA yesterday. I asked him to describe it: German Shepherd, male, older. I wanted to reach through the phone and choke him..my report is a German Shorthaired Pointer, female, young...

I am def going to check the shelters every day. The one is very good about returning lost dogs and breed IDing...the other local one isnt so good. The kennel attend that helped me said to make sure I come every day b/c the office people dont usually get a chance to call lost dog people.

Posted about 150 flyers today. Going to make more and go out again this tomorrow. The dog warden of township where she was lost called today and asked me some more info about Leena. She has a 90% success rate, which gives me some hope.

Please pass along to anyone you know in the Bucks County area.

Liz, i'm so sorry to hear about this. My aunt fosters greyhounds and one (of course the shyest) got lose and ran away. She was gone for a week and a half before she was found. Best advice is to keep your hopes up. Good Luck
