Wierd Questions

me and a friend were on our way to philly (fdr park) to ride bmx. on the way we got pulled over because one of the straps on the bike rack came lose and the bike was wobbling. he wanted to make sure it was on safely. no problem there

He ran our id's and came back, asked my friend, the driver at the time, to exit the car. they walked towards the back of the car and ask him some questions. then he got back in. another officer arrived and removed me from the passenger seat. we went to the back of the car and the officer asked me if i knew the person i was with(my friend). I just said yes, they asked what we were doing and i said going riding at fdr park. that was over.


My friend said they asked him the same questions. what would be the reason for those questions because i am clueless haha
