Pulley Failure - need help

I just had my car serviced by Hank & Sons, in Langhorne.. They replaced my timing and serpentine belts. This work was done on Friday before Christmas, They also destroyed my transmission when they went to take the car for a test run? After replacing my transmission and axles, and spending around $3k in parts and labor, a week later I get my car back. The Firday after Christmas. Well yesterday, on the way home one of my accessory pullies seized and destroyed itself. I am furious with this shop.

Can some on that is knowledgeable please PM me to help me get this taken care of.

Also can some one help tell me what part to order. It doesn't look like it is hard to do. I don't really want to bother towing it somewhere for someone to do another crap ASS job.

Looks like the tension pulley took a dump. Not sure what they cost from the dealer but I'll be able to get you a better deal. Unfort it is Sunday and the weekend before New Years. Not much I can do. I am working tomorrow so I'll report back.

If it's the AC pulley tensioner bracket, then I think I paid $8 for one from the dealer. I broke mine when I did my Perrin LW pulley install. It more or less just disintegrated

Thanks everyone, Bryan stopped over and for now I'm just going to run without that belt. But I'll be needing a new one in a few weeks so, i shall let you all know.

Again, thanks.

Wow, this has happened to a bunch of us on here. Damn bugeyes.

Same thing happened to me a few months ago. My car sat for a few days before I met up with UnderpowredRS who gave me his old pulley. I ended up cutting the belt and driving around with it that way for a while before installing the new pulley at the same time I installed my lightened crank pulley. Literally took me about 20 minutes to do. Very easy to fix.

I don't know if this is safe to do but when mine broke I just wrenched everything super tight and it help for 3 days with no problems until I picked up a new bracket.

Hey man, I cant tell from the pic, but did your engine run for even a second once the pulley broke? If so, your problems are much greater than just replacing the pulley/belt. You almost defnitly bent the valves.
