Nikon Speedlight/Flash Questions

I just purchased a sb-600, and was wondering what type of diffuser do you guys recommend? Another question i have is since I shoot with a d60, which has no commander built in. If i wanted to use the flash off the camera, the cheapest alternative i have is to buy a TTL sync cord?

I am completely new to Flash photography. So please feel free to point me in the right direction.

look into an omnibounce diffuser. they work pretty well.

as far as off-camera goes, you can either use a TTL chord or get some cheap triggers from ebay. The problem with those triggers though is that you have to set the flash settings manually.

TTl cord will have to do for now until i upgrade to a better body. I might even buy a sb-800 or sb-900 later on and use it as a commander.

I use a Gary Fong Lightsphere Cloud. Its a bit pricey for a diffuser but well worth it.

+2 on lumiquest, much better light modifiers. Gary Fong isn't my favorite at all.
