thats why i go into turns on my bike slow enough so i don't do what you did, just be lucky you did not go over that guard rail!

I'm just glad I have the bike I do. It's one of the best cornering bikes out there.. and it's 19 years old. But yah, my "spirited" riding is going to be downgraded to "just enjoying the ride" at this point. One of my club's riders went down hard on Sunday. MedEvac flew him to UPenn. He's okay due to full face helmet and gear. Concussion and scraped knee. ALL the gear ALL the time!

Yes it's on 282. I love/absolutely HATE that road. I near **** myself, but didn't really have time to think about that. I was too busy thinking "I'm going too fast... sh!t, leannnnn! Sh!t, sh!t, sh!t, guardrail & drop into creek, sh!t! Ahhh crap, gravel and bumps!" all within the span of a second.

It's a weird feeling just watching the vid. I had to pause it when I first watched it, just before the turn. Never felt this way before. Not fun.

On a bright note.. I sent this to my boss at work. He's been riding/racing bikes for 20+ years. He's got a couple Ducati's, Hayabusa, KTM, and a few others. He said he's paying for me to go with him to the next track day on Lightning at Thunderbolt Raceway in NJ on July 7th. So I'm rather happy now about that :-D

You can see the reflection of the helmet in the speedo. Glad you managed to keep the shiny side up.

Damn dude thats crazy. What camera is that? I just got a Go Pro Camera and it looks similar. That was pretty scary. The bike hit the guard rail at all?
