The car was local to the Philadelphia area before the kid I bought it from bought it. I checked phillydsm, so I figured I'd post it up here and see if anyone recognized the car.

Here is what the car looked like when I bought it:

Here is what the car looked like when it was likely sold to the guy I bought it from:

Here's some of the stuff I DO know about the car for sure:
The car has the following verifiable mods:
-Wilwood brakes
-dsmlink
-950's
-aeromotive fpr
-some kind of FP BB turbo with a Tial wastegate turbine housing, 3065 I believe
-greddy fmic
-fp intake
-jmf smim
-prosport gauges
-zeitronix wb
-magnaflow exhaust
-ground control coilovers
-front and rear sway bars
-front and rear road race strut bars

Some of the things the kid said it has, but I haven't verified:
272's
built trans
built motor
fidanza stage 3 clutch and flywheel

I'm just trying to figure out the story on this car before I tear into it to find out what it has internally. The car only has 55k miles as well, so someone would remember this. Thanks for the help.

It should be a sin to "tear into" that car at all. 55K?! Don't recoginze it though.

I'm not parting it, just pulling the pan, etc to try and figure out what it has internally. From the sounds of it, nobody that lives in the Horsham or Philly area has even seen the car. It's quite the mystery.

Glad to hear it, Chris. That kind of condition is a rarity these days, but I'm sure I don't have to tell you that.

I did a carfax and found the guy that built it registered it in Norristown, so any dsm'ers or any car enthusiast from the Norristown area must know this guy unless he was a complete hermit. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated!!

I found the owner and will be talking with him tomorrow evening.

Yeah, I think the car was listed for 6500 or something along those lines...I stole it for MUCH less.
