Aftermarket Sprocket Kits.. Who has them??

I've been thinking about putting a little bit bigger sprocket on the back of my CBR. I'm just not sure how many teeth i want to add. I don't want to lose my highway rideability, but i want it to be a little easier to clutch up in higher gears, preferrably 2nd or 3rd instead of 1st gear. I was looking at the 54 tooth but dont know if that will make the bike SCREAM on the highways, figured i would ask and see what you guys ride ~post up the type of bike you ride and the sprocket you have as well as some feedback on rideability.~

Thanks!

Not into the whole wheelie thing, but I have -1/+2 (15/45) on my 06 600 with the 520 conversion. Its good for acceleration, but probably not enough teeth if you want to wheelie easier.

I have vortex sprockets. I don't do wheelies. Neither should you. Please.

MotoMummy.com has awesome deals on vortex 520 conversion kits.

I'm most likely going with a -1front and a stock rear since my bike def dosent need a +2 rear as well. It's hard enough to keep on the ground on corner exit.

wow that deal for 160 shipped sounds awesome. nad im definatley going with the -1 front +2 rear because my bike is a 92, its not as fast as the newer bikes but still holds its own...i just want a little more jump behind it

I went from Vortex alumium sprockets to Vortex steel sprockets. The weight difference isn't noticable in my accel and its alot stronger. I also have an RK 520 chain. No complaints.

bikebandet.com has kits really cheap for most bikes

just checked out bikebandit.com... might actually go with there kits..seem to be a little cheaper.. anyone else on here stunt in shows or on the side??? im personally not ready for comps yet but feel within the next year i will be. vortex seems to be the company to go with, my brother had there aluminum sprocket and it shredded the teeth off within a year, he rides an 03 636... im most likely to go with the steel kit

Cheap sprockets can shear or wear much faster, go with vortex.

Went from 15-45 to 14-45... big difference. Took about 8mph off the top end but got a lot more fun to ride in the twisties. I recommend it.

haha aftermarket kits for my bike prolly lower the top speed to like 90mph considering it tops out at like 110 now
