He was nice enough to call the cops and was waiting when I came out...so I stayed calm and polite, despite wanting to shank him, lol

wow, that's kind of rare. awesome though, i'd act the same way you did. accidents happen and it's cool the guy wanted to try to make it right. it would be much easier for him to just take off.

Sorry about the damage but yeah, what that guy did (after the accident) was the actions of a stand up guy. I would of wanted to shake his hand rather then shank although of course still be upset about the car.

with my luck, i think the guy wouldve just left... hey nice guy to actually stay by and be a good man for what he did. If it were some new driver or something, they'd definately just dip off and be like whatever. sorry bout the car man, hope the car gets well soon.

Got an estimate today, $2044.88 in damages. Check was already cut, she'll be back. Now to decide if I buy some over fenders while its in paint...

where did you take the car? I feel your pain, i had the same thing happen last may. It was on their dime cause i was parked legally when they hit me so i took my car to LIP. (the tst vendor).

they pay for the rental also?

Haven't taken her anywhere yet, its nice out so I wanted to drive it again before giving it up, lol.

I've been in touch with Mark @ LIP, will be back in touch today to make an appointment, thanks for the suggestion.

No rental, don't need one. I have a DD.
