r/t tuning is a sponsor here and looks like they can do it from their website, but they are a ways south.

Jack Williams Auto Addictions in whitehall can do a custom alignment also for about 80 bucks, and while I hate jack williams in general, their alignment guy at whitehall is top notch, have been going there for three years now and he gets my specs in 100%. If you go there tell him mike with the miata sent you.

Yea, but it's not exactly "normal" to have all wheel steering that you need to set the toe for in two places, lol.

understood, but it's a hunter rack... I'm sure they'll have the settings you'll need to set it up just right! If anything just call and ask em.

Dan, I trust you on that, and I trust that they can do it. I'll definitely keep them in mind when I need another one. It's a bit far to drive an unaligned car though

if you want a good alignment go to RT tuning, its worth the drive.
They'll set it up exactly how you want.

If you are in Norristown or Allentown, Lansdale is not really far at all--even on a terrible, whacky, completely-out-of-sorts alignment. But the Just Tires in Norristown will do custom alignments, ask for Patrick there too--odd coincidence.

Anything bad you hear about R/T is usually out of ignorance and/or bitterness about an unrelated issue. The R/T crew is a stand up bunch and knows their stuff.

Half the price, huh? At those prices not sure how a shop could stay in biz. But, nice find.

Ok, i never got my car aligned before. Are they going to ask me what i want or do they just do it? I don't care what they do i just need it aligned due to getting lowering springs on my STi & they say to get it aligned a week ro so afterwards. I don't know what specs i'd want. I'm an alignment newbie haha. I just want it to ride nice.

if you don't know what you want just tell them the kind of driving you do and all that stuff and they'll setup the car for you.

Alignments are so important that you don't want to make the mistake of going to some 'shop' just cause it will save you a few bucks. Tires are the only part of the car that touches the ground, when they're out of whack (spec) the whole car feels off.

We can take care of ya, alignment on a lowered car with springs with no adjustable arms is $125 minis 10% for TST discount.

Also when we do a full coilover alignment there is more then just setting it to specs and shipping it. Sure you can ave a shop set ur static specs to whatever you want, but for the most part they are not gonna check spring preload; lower camber adjustments compared to upper camber adjustments; with SAI and included angle. If you have adjustable Arms most wont set them to a base lengths so when you do make adjustments its the same side to side. Alot of shops also dont adjust your endlinks to neutral after ride height is set. After all of that when it comes time to actually drive the car, if its understeering, over steering squelin tires or any other issue you might have, they dont have the knowledge to correct it, After all all they did was set it to the specs they were givin.

A full coilover alignment we spend 3-4 hrs on a 60k machine and we charge 200 dollars for a full alignment package. Our normal rate is $85/hr, so if we were to charge an hourly rate then most alignments would be $255-$340 so with that being said, we feel that the package prices are the fairest. This isnt to bash any other shops, but more so to educate our customers on what is actually included in one of our alignments...
