Just picked it up. God this thing feels like a toy compared to the 40D, absolutely hate it. Is there some sort of body cover available to make the grip more ergonomic?

Battery is charging, will post up some pics and video ASAP.

I was at NYCV today... just to pick up a $13 rain sleeve though to use tomorrow in the rain at NJMP for the Rolex Series race.

what made you choose the T1i? was it the video? Just seems like a weird transition from 40D to T1i

Video is more important to me at the moment, and the ability to get creative with lenses in HD video is the main reason I got it. Three times the resolution on the LCD screen is a big factor as well. I will miss the 40D, but when an updated version with video comes out, I will upgrade.
