no scions??

i suppose that is a good thing...

it'd probably only be filled with people discussing their silly visual mods

however, i'd like to meet some people who've done a tc right.. maybe we could teamup and change the stereotype haha

So..
mine is an '06 tc with a supercharger and lowering springs..
its black with just a little lip spoiler (that big one, if you ask me, is obnoxious)
if i decide to keep it (vs buying a 2.5rs and doing a wrx or sti swap)..
i'll get to sway bars, struts, cat back, intake.. maybe upgraded brakes..
that's a lot of money to put into a tc, though.

the only visual upgrades i think i'd want is new wheels,
like some light 5 spokes
anddd i've seen some very sexy wide body kits..
i'd like to just maybe do some side skirt action....
just make it stand out and look real tucked onto the ground..
i just can't picture paying for that when i'd rather do performance upgrades..

so, anyone who has a clean, sleek car with performance over looks in mind.. i'd love to hear what you have goin' on... maybe it'd inspire me to keep mine.

if there is already a scion / tc thread and i missed it.. feel free to move this!

98% of modded scions are riced out. the OE rear spoiler is horrible. its a nice looking car in stock form though. just too popular w/ chicks and old people for my style. no offense to girls and old people of course.

i agree. but it makes me want to keep it just to show people how its really done haha.. mines really clean looking.. just black and lowered.
if i did all of the things to it that i wanted to, i could shut up a lot of people who talk **** about them.. but i talk **** about them too haha .. eh the people in them.

My xa is no longer around, a lady blew a stop sign and I just offed it after insurance cut a check. With a good suspension setup the 1.5 scions are monsters up to 60. you can ask Zack about those days. btw when you are getting back so we can make some runs... 280+ hp cars had a hard time losing me on turns =) "fastest" straightline I clicked was a 15.4 @86, with a lousy 2.4 60 though lol.

I'll be back in the toyota/scion/lexus camp shortly with a new project soon enough.

I've been back since May 10th. We need to do a run soon.

New wheels and tires left California yesterday, they'll be here next week sometime.

I need to work out some minor kinks out of the new car and we'll be good to chase, I also have some new recruits that will head up with us as well.

Honestly ive thought about the new XB's for real, ive been trying to find reasons to stay with yota, but really there is nothing that really grabs my attention in their line-up anymore....I was uber excited about the joint venture with subaru and that car, but that keeps getting pushed back, etc....Ive also thought about going back to a GT-S but time to learn a different car i suppose....

and i think im going to stay away from building a car like my last two, ive spent so so so so much money on my past two projects and totaled them both im also growing up and college graduation is right around the corner, need something realiable for work not the worry of a boosted car breaking you know..... then my track car builds will begin and then its really on

your car should be an extension or your limbs. they probably weren't set up right if you totaled them...

unless someone ran into it or some other freak happenings like deer or tree on your roof or just wasn't paying attention to the road...
