I just bought my girl a 2001 honda civic ex coupe, It is automatic so there is not really much that can be done to it but I was thinking of just dropping it and throwing rims on it tinting the windows you know the usual. Any other suggestions?

i would just stick with a mild drop, rims, and tint.

maybe a lip kit

what i'm thinking to do is a 2 inch drop on a set 01 ex hammer types polished instead and in the middle of each spoke where its painted grey repaint color of car which is red.

Thats awesome, I've been wanting to get those wheels and paint them red for a few months now...do it, should look great.

you'll definitely be replacing the struts, lower control arm bushings, and front motor mount to start.(used to work for honda)

dont polish and paint a set of stockers. ewwww!

get a set of ksports, blades, si-r lip and call it a day.

i like jdmfrees ideas. ksports can be tempermental but i agree with a dumped ex on blades.

I vote auto to auto conversion, H23, H22, B18b, B18c there are a bunch you can do and its not as hard as you might think, I guess you could do a V6 auto swap now as well, with a mini-van motor, hasport sells the mounts... All depends on how much she/you want to spend.

i wish i had my auto still, it would sit on the grounddd
and mild tint, shell get pulled over, but probably out of it since shes a girl lol

The only engine the EM/ES chassis can take is the K20, not the B, D, H, etc. series.

I have a black front type-R lip for that car. Let me know if you want it, came off my old 01 sedan.

The cars are hopeless for any kind of performance work. Here is the stuff I put on my car (regretfully)

Neuspeed Sport Springs

SPC Camber kit

eBay tower bars

Tokico HP shocks

Let me know if you need advice with the car, I still remember a good bit about them.
