Finally got my SRT-6 dyno'd. It put down 343 whp/ 360 wtq. Looking forward to running it again this friday at Atco to see if I can get past the mid 12's. Enjoy:

Excellent video! Are you the one that made it?

Not bad numbers either but shouldn't the torque numbers be higher on an SRT6?

Do they make a mapclamp setup or staged ecu setup for the SRT-6???

That would help you with your power drop off...What plugs are you using.

I think the power drop was because the front wheels weren't spinning. The ecu senses it and shuts it down around 5400. A bunch of guys on the Crossfire forums picked up on that right away.

Amen. This car wasn't on my radar until I saw it pull an 12.2 at Atco one night- now the same guy is diving into the 11's with very few mods (Pulley, Intake, Manifolds, & Tune). Dyno'ing around 400hp to the rear wheels. Not bad for a sub 20k car with about 3.5k in basic bolt-on mods.

I've had my eye on these so long, you can pick up a regular Crossfire with like 20,000 miles for 10-11k at this dealer down in Texas.

The thought of buying one has drifted in and out of my mind so many times it's insane. I'm pretty much set of the C6 Vette since I'm leaving the 4 banger scene ASAP but if for some reason I don't end up with one this would be a perfectly adequate replacement and will perform just as well for quite a few bones cheaper. Only thing that draws me back is the automatic.

How's it feel to have AMG cast into your engine bay (last time I went to check one out I saw that and almost cried when comparing prices to the SLKAMG)?

Other than a few cheap interior parts and in some peoples opinions questionable style the car itself is completely badass and sounds rediculous once opened up a little bit.

Yeah they are so inexpensive now I bought one for my wife (a non SRT version). I picked her up a black soft-top roadster with rust colored leather interior. 12k miles, and in beautiful condition, definitely garage kept. We paid 16k.

It's funny you mention Vette- I was dead set on getting a low-milage 08 (LS3) Vette before I picked up the SRT-6. However once I saw it run at the track and saw how it was litterally less than 1/2 the price of the Vette I was sold.

It's a great feeling having all the power of an AMG with NONE of the resale! lol

Its definitely best bang for the buck, same with the SRT4's


And if its senses the front wheels not spinning how is there NOT a way around that...They have figured just about every single thing about these cars but cant find a way around that??? that sucks.
