Seems there are meets all over the suburbs, but what about us that are actually closer to Philly?

Im new, so bear with me if Ive simply missed the appropriate thread.

Used to be meets around the Boulevard, there still may be some, but i don't think they are TST affiliated. Problem with the city is lack of spots to meet. I mean, honestly, where could we meet in Manayunk? Maybe near the dinner/movie theater?

If you want to try to start one, go for it. I'd stop by.

Or up in the Andorra shopping center. Dunno, just curious, thats all.

When the weather gets warmer TempleTuners will probably start holding meets in the city but as of now its not official.

Meeting at andorra would just be lame city. lol.

You can go to the Blvd meets on sunday. Thats not far. Or go to the ones in KOP. Its all within 15-20min of driving.

There's a chance this could succeed. I think location depends on size of the meet. As far as meeting near Manayunk itself the only place is the movie theater at the end of Main St. There's the Andorra shopping center which is big but boring. The shopping center by Domino Ln. & Ridge Ave. could work. I'd say Philly U but their lots are overcrowded as is.

There really isn't a great central location. It depends on how many people are willing to come out and where they want to meet.
