My First Experience with a Golf GTI

So I dropped off the Passat at L&T last night to get some work done (temp sensor, side gasket causing an awful stink, etc) and Lenny (who I've known for some time btw) gives me a loaner for last night and today until I get my car back.

Last time he did this, I was going to get an 2004 Audi A4, but I wasn't able to drop my car off to get it worked on. So when I finally get there last night, I talk to him, drop her off and he hands me the keys and points to this VW Golf GTI.

I'm saying to myself, wtf, I was going to get an Audi and now you give me this little Golf ?!? But I smile, say thanks and walk towards it.

But to be honest, I LOVE IT! Its the coolest little car I've ever driven (aside from my WRX of course...)!! Its so freakin peppy!!! I seriously don't want to give it back tonight!

I'm pretty cool with Lenny, so he gets me in and out pretty fast and he gives me a killer price every time.

I gotta say, I do miss that little thing. haha

Did you get a sudden craving for having long cylindrical items inserted into your mouth while driving it?

Forged internals or not they still blow up. I still have a mutilated piston form a 2000 awd block. It is a neat paper weight/conversation piece though.
