Just thought this was kind of interesting, with the whole Phelps marijuana thing. I think people need to start taking a serious look at the effects of marijuana on a person short and long term and make an educated opinion, personally i'm for legalization. As of right now one of the greatest american athletes and our superbowl mvp have been caught with the stuff recently. Just curious to see what others thought.

I cant believe they act like Phelps smokes weed, Those swimmers get tested before and after races i mean come on they would know if he was smoking weed....

he was drunk at a party around of bunch of people and prolly was just trying to be cool or for whatever....

I just read a pretty good article on this subject the other day. California is now actively pursuing the legalization of marijuana beyond just the medical use law it has in place now. They are currently trying to figure out a way to tax the product since it is their largest cash crop. This is one of the leading plans in place to pay off their enormous deficit, so it is something that may happen very soon. Not only is California trying to legalize it, but O'bama fully supports it and plans to encourage the legalization of marijuana throughout the country IF it can be properly taxed. I don't know if there trully is a way to legalize marijuana but if they can, the regulation laws that will be put in place will be very similar to alchohol and tobacco.
Its kind of funny, California is reacting the same way many americans have in the past. ****, we're broke...lets sell some pot!! haha

I don't like Kellogg's for other reasons. Mostly for what went on in the Battle Creek Sanitarium. Dr. Kellogg was a damn lunatic.

Boycott Kelloggs?

You can't reward stupid and irresponsible behavior, which no matter how you look at it, as exactly how Phelps behaved. Whether those hippies like it or not, he is a role model and acting recklessly (stupid is the better word) shouldn't go unnoticed (or unpunished). It doesn't set a very good example ;) . Just as he got a DUI a couple years ago, you can't suggest that is good behavior.

What the **** did people expect some of the sponsors to do? Quite frankly, I'm surprised that more sponsors didn't drop him.

And I'm for the legalization of responsible marijuana use, it's no worse than alcohol, but RIGHT NOW, it is ILLEGAL.
