No-zoom2002's mazda protege es, turbo build within

Well I was told I should create a build thread for my car, so here goes hope you like it.

exterior when I first got it.

gauge cluster(stock)

stock spring, and tein s-tech

spring installed

ram air intake

full cold air

header 4 to 1

painted valve cover

powder coated candy apple red

what my engine bay currently looks like

trans removal

fidenza 7.5 lbs flywheel and exedy clutch

shifter removal

B&M FTW

Wheels after I painted them, will be getting powder coated at a later date

front motor mount and the awr 95 durameter mount

stock rear mount and new awr mount

more spring crap

rear motor mount installation( it was a bitch)

more rear strut install

the new go fast part to be installed soon!

ractive tip, with dynomax chambered muffler

some random pics

new turbo manifold, I have it but these are the online pics.

I don't have pics of everything I did and I am sorry for that.
But the mods as of now are,
full cold air intake
4-1 header
custom built(by me) 2.5" exhaust with dynomax muffler, new cat and ractive tip
jdm mazdaspeed 241 deg cams
awr front and rear 95 durameter motor mounts
awr adjustable sway bar endlinks
tein s-tech springs
torsen limited slip diff
fidenza flywheel
exedy clutch
B&M short shifter
some stereo stuff, head unit subs and amp(but that **** doesn't matter

I am soon to be installing a td04 turbo set to 7psi
front mount intercooler
cast top mount manifold
innovate wide band sensor and gauge
rising rate fuel pressure reg
and all the other small stuff
no timing or ecu mods just yet

after the turbo is done i am looking into integral cams

exterior mods are, blakc 16" stock wheels
all black badges( where chrome)
Red painted front calipers, will soon have all four powder coated the same color as my valve cover, IC piping will be that same color.
Will update this when I get new stuff, I have to take some more pics as I do have parts in my bed room for the turbo kit.

Nice project. My buddy had a black 5spd one like yours. We did a 2.5" custom exhaust, and he modified his airbox. Did some basic interior/engine bay modifications with paint and just daily drove it. I forget exactly but he put down between 99-103 wheel horsepower on a dynojet. Only problem he had was when he blew his trans but mazda covered under warranty. Me and him both miss the car a lot. It was slow but was tons of fun driving it around when we both first started driving.
I had a 03.5 MSP and that thing was an awesome car. Still regret selling it but what can you do. Good luck with the turbo swap and any other future mods you do. I will keep an eye on this and see how you make out. Good luck!
