front sway bar

so I'm trying to take the front sway bar off my sti and the stud is just spinning. On the rear ones there's a flat piece you can hold with a wrench, the front ones are all smooth.
also, oops

oh and there was a tiny spring attached to the magnet in my transmission fluid, how bad is this?

car's still up now, figured out how to get the sway bars off though. We'll see how it works out when I get home from class.

Relax, bud. When the dude with a drag Honda and a boosted daily that has had fast Honda's for years AND fabs his own parts tells the new kids on the block that they're doing it wrong, it's time to step back and learn something.
